RUBBER

O-RINGS

Obraz

We are probably the only company in Poland with the know-how and the full production process of O-rings and other toroidal seals of various cross-sections.

Depending on the purpose of the O-rings and the requirements for tightness and strength, we use appropriate rubber compounds in the full hardness range (30 – 90 ShA) and based on a wide range of rubber bases:

  • natural and synthetic: NR, SBR, NR/SBR, NR/BR/SBR, EPDM, EPM, NBR, HNBR, XNBR, NBR/PVC, CR, BR, IIR, CIIR, ACM, AEM, ECO, CSM

  • silicone: VMQ, FVMQ,

Rubber compounds meet the standard requirements of the following standards: UNE, ISO, ASTM, DIN, JIS, NF, KTW, FDA, NSF, UL94, RBB.EDS6 and individual, required by customers, e.g. VW 2.8.1, DBL 5556.10, FIAT TA 20-55, VOLVO 412-0001, SCANIA STD4495, PSA S21 5505, GME 06001, XYLEM M0516.2636.33.

Depending on the requirements, the surface of the O-rings can also be covered with standard methyl silicone oils facilitating their subsequent assembly. They can also be covered with mineral oils, both motor and transmission ones. It is also possible to apply durable PTFE or silicone coatings of various colours to visually distinguish parts, enable their automatic assembly, improve dynamic properties, etc.

During the process of designing and selecting seals in fluid supply systems for general industrial applications using O-rings, international standards defining internal diameters, cross-sections and their tolerances (ISO 3601-1:2012), as well as the limits of permissible surface and shape defects (ISO 3601-3:2005) are used.
