Polyurethane combines the best properties of both plastic and rubber. It provides very high abrasion and tear resistance (up to 5 times higher than rubber product and 4 times higher than plasticised PVC), high tensile and elongation strength, pressure and vacuum action as well as higher cutting resistance than most other thermoplastics.
Moreover, polyurethane has good resistance to chemicals, demonstrating exceptional resistance to most petrols, oils, kerosene and other petroleum-based chemicals.
We are a manufacturer of PUGA® polyurethane elastomers dedicated to work in a demanding environment.
Depending on the purpose of the product, we use appropriate PUGA® elastomers in the casting or spraying process in the full hardness range (35 ShA - 75 ShD) and based on a wide range of polyurethane system components:
- polyols: polyesters, polyetherols (including PTMEG systems),
- isocyanates: MDI, NDI, TDI, HMDI
Thanks to such a wide spectrum of polyurethane systems, the PUGA® group of elastomers is used in many applications characterised by the harshest operating conditions, requiring very good mechanical properties, high abrasion resistance or resilience to hydrolysis.
